About

I started out as a beauty journalist at Marie Claire, and the years since have taken me somewhere I didn’t expect: from Untold Magazine’s editor’s desk, to a media role in the House of Commons, to co-launching the WIE Women’s Network in London — a forum connecting exceptional women (Joanna Lumley, Melinda Gates, Queen Rania among them) with the next generation coming up behind them.

Politics taught me how power actually moves. Media taught me how attention actually works. Beauty taught me how brands actually get built. By the time I became CSO at BARDOU Beauty and co-founded The BARDOU Foundation, I wasn’t approaching strategy from one angle — I was pulling from all of them at once.

That’s still how I work. Holistic and intuitive, because a business is never just the P&L or just the brand story — it’s both, and the twenty other things in between. I’ve spent 25+ years learning to see the whole picture, which is why I don’t start with a template. I start with what’s actually going on.

Today, alongside consulting, I’m Head of Business & Operations at The LAAM and a Trustee of the DigiLearning Foundation. I’m also, slowly and stubbornly, writing my first novel.
