I’m Sofia Foster. For 20 years I’ve worked with founders and leaders — by word of mouth, not marketing — across lifestyle, beauty, media and philanthropy, from Strategy Director at BARDOU Beauty to Business & Operations Manager at The LAAM today. My approach is holistic and intuitive: I look at the whole picture, not just the org chart or the deck, and I only take on people and businesses I genuinely believe in. Growth and profit sit at the centre of everything I do — but never at the expense of the bigger picture.
I’ve been consulting for 20 years without ever needing a website. Word of mouth and reputation have carried the work — which tells you something about how I like to operate: personally, selectively, and only with people I actually want to work with.
My approach is holistic and intuitive. I don’t start with a template or a framework — I start by understanding the whole picture: the business, the people in it, and what’s really getting in the way. From there, everything comes back to two things: growth and profit. Not growth for its own sake, and not profit stripped of everything else that matters — the two, done properly, together.
I work across:
- Strategy & Clarity — finding what actually matters and cutting the rest.
- Positioning & Messaging — making sure the market understands you, before another pound goes into marketing that doesn’t land.
- Process & Implementation — the part that makes a strategy survive contact with a real business.
Two decades of doing this inside real organisations sits behind it — as Strategy Director at BARDOU Beauty, Co-Founder of The BARDOU Foundation, Managing Editor of Untold Magazine, and today as Business & Operations Manager at The LAAM.
If that sounds like a fit, get in touch. I don’t take everyone on — but if we’re a match, it tends to go the distance.
